Partisans are fighting the invaders and collaborators in occupied Kherson

  Kherson Oblast was occupied on February 24. The Russian army advanced from the annexed Crimea, gradually capturing the region, and on March 1, Russian troops entered Kherson. Despite this, the city council worked until April 25, until the Russians began to appoint the occupying power — Volodymyr Saldo became the "mayor" and Oleksandr Kobets "the head of the oblast". The occupiers constantly announce a "referendum" on the creation of the "Kherson Peopleʼs Republic" and the joining of the region to Russia, but they have not yet done so. In the oblast and the city, they ran into partisan resistance — from pasting leaflets about waiting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to killing collaborators
