Russian forces attack Kyiv and region overnight, killing 3-year-old boy and his grandparents

Fires broke out in two districts of Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack:

Also, strikes were reported in the village of Pukhivka in Kyiv region's Brovary district. Russian forces hit a private house with five drones, killing a young boy and his grandparents.

The strike occurred at around 12:40 a.m. The two-story residential building was completely destroyed. Outbuildings and two cars were also damaged.

A 3-year-old boy and his grandparents were killed at the scene. The child's parents suffered shrapnel wounds and burns. His 15-year-old brother sustained burns and was taken to the intensive care unit.

A 21-year-old neighbor who came to help the family after the strike was also injured. Overall, three people were killed and four injured in the overnight attack.

Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into a war crime that resulted in deaths (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Another fire broke out in the village of Pukhivka on the premises of an industrial enterprise, where a warehouse building caught fire.

As Rubryka previously reported, Russian forces attacked Ukraine starting on the evening of August 7 with six Iskander-M ballistic missiles and S-400 guided surface-to-air missiles launched from Russia's Bryansk region, as well as 151 drones.
