United to win: Ramstein group meets in September to discuss Ukraine's winter support
Streeting said he had arrived in the Ukrainian capital to understand Ukraine's needs better ahead of winter and to demonstrate the unity of allies to the Kremlin.
According to the minister, Britain is reviewing Ukraine's requests for military assistance and is ready to provide support where it has the capacity.
"We are looking very carefully at Ukraine's needs. We are consistently working through the full list of those needs. Where the United Kingdom can assist, we will do so. And where we cannot, my task is to mobilize the international community so that it steps up its efforts," the minister added.
Streeting said that during his visit, he plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his Ukrainian counterpart, Yevhen Khmara.
According to Streeting, on his way to Kyiv, he also visited Paris and Copenhagen, where he discussed joint steps to support Ukraine with his French and Danish counterparts.
