Russian attacks kill three civilians in Kharkiv region and injure 13 in Sumy

In Balakliia, a Russian attack killed three civilians.

Karabanov said the first strike hit a private residential house. A woman was killed in the attack, a fire broke out at the site, and rescuers cleared the rubble.

Russian forces carried out the second strike near another private house. Two more people, a man and a woman, were killed there.

"All relevant services are working at the sites of the enemy strikes," the head of the city military administration said.

Ukraine's State Emergency Service clarified that drones attacked Balakliia's private residential sector overnight. The strikes set two residential houses on fire and damaged neighboring homes. Firefighters have already extinguished both fires.
