Russian attacks kill three civilians in Kharkiv region and injure 13 in Sumy

In Balakliia, a Russian attack killed three civilians.
Karabanov said the first strike hit a private residential house. A woman was killed in the attack, a fire broke out at the site, and rescuers cleared the rubble.
Russian forces carried out the second strike near another private house. Two more people, a man and a woman, were killed there.
"All relevant services are working at the sites of the enemy strikes," the head of the city military administration said.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service clarified that drones attacked Balakliia's private residential sector overnight. The strikes set two residential houses on fire and damaged neighboring homes. Firefighters have already extinguished both fires.

The Russian army also struck Sumy with guided aerial bombs. According to Hryhorov, the enemy dropped four guided bombs on the city's civilian infrastructure.
At the same time, the head of the Sumy City Military Administration reported that the main strike hit a shopping center and civilian infrastructure facilities in the Kovpakivskyi district. Shops were also damaged.
Later, he clarified that in eight minutes, Russian forces dropped eight guided aerial bombs on the city's residential areas, one of which was intercepted by air defense.

As Rubryka reported, Russia's massive ballistic attack on the night of August 5 destroyed a Rozetka warehouse complex in Brovary and a Nova Poshta sorting center in Kyiv. No one was injured at the Rozetka warehouse, while three people were killed and eight others were wounded at the Nova Poshta facility.
Russian missile strikes also damaged production and logistics facilities belonging to the Epicentr company. One employee was killed, and three other people were injured. Because of the destruction at the enterprise, the company is suspending ceramic tile production and moving it to other sites.
