Estonia's new ambassador arrives in Kyiv and begins diplomatic mission in Ukraine
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in detail and confirmed their readiness for continued close coordination to advance Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Before taking up her diplomatic mission in Ukraine, Intelmann served from 2024 to 2026 as Estonia's Ambassador-at-Large for Mediation and Multilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 2021 to 2023, she was Ambassador of the European Union and Head of the EU Delegation to Somalia. From 2017 to 2021, Intelmann served as Estonia's ambassador to the United Kingdom, and from 2014 to 2017, as EU Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Liberia.
On December 12, 2011, she was elected President of the Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court. From 2010 to 2011, she served as Estonia's ambassador to Israel, concurrently accredited to Montenegro.
From 2005 to 2011, Intelmann served as Estonia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
From 1999 to 2002, she was Estonia's Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
