Representatives of the clergy, including Bishop Venedykt and Father Yaroslav Mendyk, the pastor of the local church, led the blessing of the new center.

In his remarks, Bishop Venedykt emphasized, "The Ukrainian Community Center is not just a building; it will be a home for the soul, a place of unity and strength, another center for the community's cultural, spiritual, and social life."

The center is equipped with six classrooms for language, educational, and art programs, plus a dance studio and exhibition hall for showcasing creative heritage.

Organizers stress that the main goal of the space is to unite Ukrainians from different waves of immigration and create an environment for preserving national roots far from their homeland.

In Sheffield, Massachusetts, the Borshch for Ukraine community initiative brought together more than 90 residents of the Berkshires. The charitable event, organized by a family of Ukrainian heritage, raised significant funds to support humanitarian initiatives in Ukraine.

Additionally, the Cathedral of Saints Volodymyr and Olha in Chicago recently hosted an Easter concert, uniting the Ukrainian community in music, word, and prayer, and raising over 4,500 US dollars to support Ukraine's Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague organized a cultural and culinary event where Ukrainian borscht was presented as part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage and featured a pop-up show by Ukrainian designers.
