Ukrainian agricultural exports enter 23 new markets in 2026
Behind every new market opening is a coordinated effort by government agencies and businesses, from negotiating with foreign regulators and aligning veterinary and phytosanitary standards to proving the reliability of Ukraine's control system and securing the necessary export certificates.
Ukraine has secured expanded export access to Albania, Algeria, Vietnam, Georgia, Denmark, Egypt, South Korea, Côte d'Ivoire, Kuwait, Moldova, Chile, China, and the European Union.
The newly approved exports include beef, lamb, poultry, milk and dairy products, egg products, pet food, fish products, flour, live animals, and planting material.
Animal products and processed food products accounted for the largest share of new approvals during the first half of 2026.
According to officials, this reflects growing international confidence in Ukraine's food safety control system and opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian exporters to expand into global markets.
