Melania Trump helps return another Ukrainian child
Melania Trump said she and her representative continue working to return children and other people who the war has separated from their families.
"There is nothing more powerful than reuniting a mother with her child after an extended period of time. My representative and I are focused on helping facilitate the next reunification of individuals who have been separated from their loved ones because of the war between Ukraine and Russia," the US first lady said.
The White House said that, thanks to her efforts since she wrote a Peace Letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, 34 Ukrainian children have been reunited with their families.
Background
It should be noted that in April this year, US First Lady Melania Trump helped return six Ukrainian children abducted from Ukraine by Russian occupiers.
Also, in late July, it became known that the wife of US President Donald Trump helped reunite another group of children with their families after Russia's war against Ukraine had separated them.
As Rubryka reported, on March 26, it became known that the US had allocated 25 million US dollars for programs to return and rehabilitate Ukrainian children forcibly taken by Russia.
