Ukraine's Special Operations Forces liberate Andriivka-Klevtsove and capture 30 Russian occupiers

The fighters said Russian troops had long tried to gain a foothold in the settlement in small groups. They gradually entered Andriivka-Klevtsove and set up positions.

In response, Special Operations Forces fighters, together with operators of the Tr1ar1um unit, launched the ground phase of the operation:

As a result, Russian troops lost control of the area, and 30 occupiers surrendered.

"Thirty Russian service members were forced to surrender. Those who continued to resist were eliminated. Andriivka-Klevtsove is again under Ukraine's control," the Special Operations Forces added.

The Special Operations Forces also released a video of the ground part of the operation.

It is worth noting that Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to fight in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukrainian troops are liberating settlements from Russian forces, but they have not yet fully restored control over the region, as the Dachne area remains under occupation.

Background

As Rubryka reported, fighters of the 6th Special Operations Forces Rangers Regiment captured three Russian soldiers during a combat mission in one of the directions. They eliminated another occupier after he refused to surrender. During the operation, the special forces also found a small fawn and evacuated it from the danger zone.

In July, the 225th Separate Assault Regiment said Ukrainian troops captured 64 Russian soldiers during a clearing operation in several settlements in the Zaporizhzhia direction. According to the fighters, the enemy planned to act covertly and avoid open combat.

Also, two Ukrainian soldiers from the Morok assault group of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment forced six Russian foot soldiers from the 114th Motor Rifle Regiment to surrender during a combat operation. The enemy laid down their arms after the assault on their shelter.
