What does the decision involve?

Four NATO countries want to create a new international system that will allow them to invest in defense more quickly, without lengthy approval procedures among allies.

In a joint statement, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Finland, and Poland confirmed their intention to strengthen defense financing and increase the efficiency of defense spending to modernize their armed forces more quickly and prepare for future threats.

The countries also confirmed that they will continue supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
