The commander also reported strikes on six more electrical substations as part of the "Crimean switch off" operation. According to him, the number of power hubs attacked since the beginning of July has reached 50.

As part of the 'Crimean switch off' pool, another six electrical substations were worked on overnight — exactly 50 power hubs in total from July 1 to 8 — along with other sensitive targets. A report will follow later. All targets were coordinated by the newly created Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned System Forces," he wrote.
It is worth adding that an attack was carried out on Russia's Rostov region overnight on July 8. The governor of the Russian region, Yuriy Slyusar, reported this in the morning. He claimed that "about seven dozen UAVs" had been destroyed, while at the same time acknowledging "consequences on the ground" and the presence of injured people.
In particular, according to the Russian official's statement, unidentified drones damaged two Russian tankers.
"In Taganrog Bay, two tankers heading to Rostov-on-Don were damaged as a result of a UAV attack. Two people sustained minor injuries. One received medical assistance at the scene, while the other was taken to hospital, where doctors provided all necessary care. Both injured people refused hospitalization. The crew had to be evacuated from one of the vessels," Slyusar wrote.
At the same time, he claimed that "the tankers were empty and no oil products were spilled."
Background
As Rubryka reported, on the night of July 7, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several military and logistics facilities in Russia and occupied Crimea.
