Only Those Who Cooperate with Russian Invasion Administration Are Allowed to Gather the Crops Commercially in Mariupol Area – Andriushchenko

Other citizens may use the harvest only for their personal needs. The Russian invaders have started the harvest season on Mariupol District, which is essentially nothing but an institutionalized robbery of Ukrainian agricultural holdings and farmers. Only those who actively collaborate with invasion administration are allowed to gather the crops commercially, Petro Andriushchenko, the Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol, reports. "Others are directly blackmailed and permitted to use the harvest only for their personal needs. Meanwhile, Mariupol port is getting ready for handing of stolen grain. At least four Russian ships have been noticed in the port water area. We’ll see whether these are for grain or for metal scrap. According to our sources, the Russians have come up with a scheme for organized rolled steel and grain export from Mariupol to Syria”, he posted. According to Andriushchenko, “the spoils of war” stolen by the invaders are carried on the small river/sea class traders to the transshipment points (which are basically large freight docks with cranes) in the “neutral waters” not far Kerch. “There, the stolen goods are transshipped from small trader to large vessels heading to Syria with fake documents stating different country of origin, sometimes even Turkey (this information requires further confirmation). The way from Mariupol to freight dock takes only about 8 hours, which enables the invaders to handle their loot at a fast pace”, Andriushchenko added. Read also:
