Solutions to win: Ukraine’s defense forces receive Alexa Spatium jet interceptor drone
The interceptor's main purpose is to strike Russian attack drones of the "Geran-3," "Geran-4," "Geran-5," and Shahed-131 types. At the same time, the system can also target reconnaissance drones, helicopters, and other individual targets.
During tests, the interceptor confirmed the tactical and technical characteristics declared by the manufacturer.
The Alexa Spatium can use different combat tactics. The drone can operate both using pre-set coordinates and in direct guidance mode.
The system also allows different warhead options. The interceptor can use high-explosive fragmentation, shaped-charge, and thermobaric warheads.
The Alexa Spatium measures about 1.5 by 1.7 meters. The drone is made of lightweight and durable composite material. This design allows it to perform sharp maneuvers without losing controllability.
The warhead's weight, in turn, ensures effective strikes against a wide range of aerial targets.
The Alexa Spatium launches from a mobile catapult within minutes. At the same time, a drone that has not completed its mission can return to the launch site for reuse.
