Russian night attack kills four in Kharkiv region, injures people in Sumy region

"The enemy attacked the village of Lebiazhe in Chuhuiv district with six UAVs at night," the regional head reported.
According to the regional head, officials initially knew that two women, aged 73 and 66, had been killed.
"As a result of the massive strike, a 73-year-old woman and a 66-year-old woman were killed," the statement said.
He said a 41-year-old woman and a 73-year-old woman were also injured, and medics provided all necessary assistance.

Sumy region
Russian invaders also launched a large-scale attack on the Sumy region. On the evening of August 20, Konotop came under attack, with authorities recording three strikes on a residential area. Houses were damaged, but there were no deaths or injuries.
"By a miracle, there were no deaths or injuries. One woman had an acute stress reaction," the regional military administration said.
In addition, on the night of August 21, Russians attacked Sumy: authorities recorded strikes in four locations, including a two-story residential building. The building sustained extensive damage. At least two people were injured.
In total, eight people were injured in the Sumy region over the past day. Russian forces shelled 18 settlements in the region 23 times, using guided aerial bombs, attack drones and FPV drones, artillery, and mortars.
A residential building, garages and warehouses, a service station, a gas pipeline, and seven cars were damaged.
Background
As Rubryka reported, Russia carried out massive shelling of Kyiv and the region overnight. The enemy attack left people dead and injured. So far, 16 deaths have been reported in the capital, and one in the Kyiv region. Another 42 people were injured.
