Background
The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra brings together Ukrainian musicians, including those who were forced to leave Ukraine because of Russia's full-scale aggression, as well as performers who continue their professional work in Ukraine. Keri-Lynn Wilson founded the orchestra in 2022 in cooperation with the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra's international performances help strengthen the presence of Ukrainian culture worldwide and draw global attention to Ukraine, its cultural heritage, contemporary art, and the fight for freedom.
