Birds of Freedom: Ukrainian World Congress launches global fundraiser for FPV drones for Ukraine's Defense Forces
What is the problem?
The Ukrainian World Congress emphasized that drones have become one of the key tools of modern warfare. They help Ukrainian soldiers conduct reconnaissance, identify targets, carry out precision strikes, and reduce risks for personnel.
At the same time, the demand for such systems on the front line remains extremely high, which is why Ukrainian forces constantly need new drones.
What is the solution?
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), through its Unite With Ukraine initiative, together with Saint Javelin and "Ostannii Kapitalist" ("The Last Capitalist"), has launched the international charity fundraiser Birds of Freedom: Summer Heat.
The campaign aims to provide four units of Ukraine's Defense Forces with Ukrainian-made FPV drones and medium-range fixed-wing strike drones.
"By defending the front line, Ukrainian soldiers are protecting not only the sovereignty of their country but also democratic values and the security architecture that supports the international community," said Pavlo Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress.
"Through the Birds of Freedom: Summer Heat fundraiser, our global community has a direct opportunity to support those serving on the front line by providing them with critical technologies that save lives and bring Ukraine closer to victory. Every drone funded through this campaign strengthens the eyes and hands of the defenders who courageously hold the line for all of us."
How does it work?
Individuals, companies, civil society organizations, and international partners can join the fundraiser. Donors can:
Four units of Ukraine's Defense Forces will receive support:
"Unmanned systems for Ukrainian frontline units are no longer just an enhancement of combat capabilities — they are a basic operational necessity. As Ukraine continues its fight for freedom and a democratic future, access to reliable modern drones remains an urgent priority," said Christian Borys, founder of Saint Javelin.
"This campaign provides Ukrainian-made systems, tailored to the specific needs of military units and delivered directly into the hands of Ukrainian operators who protect lives, hold the line, and continue the fight for victory."
As Rubryka previously reported, Ukrainian developers have demonstrated field tests of the autonomous LITAVR interceptor drone. The system can independently detect and track aerial targets, while the operator only confirms their engagement.
