Humanitarian aid worker killed and four others injured in Russian shelling in Ukraine's Kherson region
According to the report, a 24-year-old demining specialist sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of the Russian attack. Initially, authorities reported that three other NPA employees had been wounded.
Later, Prokudin specified that the number of injured humanitarian workers had risen to four, with two of them in serious condition.
All of the injured were hospitalized and are receiving medical assistance.
Prokudin also reported that Russian forces struck a critical infrastructure facility in Kherson, leaving the central part of the city without electricity.
In addition, at around 3:00 p.m., Russian troops launched a drone attack on Kherson's Central District. A 29-year-old woman who was standing on a balcony was injured in the strike. She suffered a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed traumatic brain injury.
Emergency medical personnel provided the victim with treatment at the scene.
