A rich cultural program has been prepared for representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, Portuguese guests, and the diplomatic corps, including:

The main goal of this year's Borshch Day is its charitable component. All funds raised from the sale of food, souvenirs, and lottery tickets will be directed toward the humanitarian project "Children of Heroes – Warmed by the Sun and Love 2."

Last year, thanks to the unity of the Ukrainian community, volunteers successfully organized a rehabilitation trip to Portugal for the families and children of fallen defenders of Ukraine.

This year, the organizers are continuing that mission to provide another group of children of Ukrainian Heroes with a safe summer vacation, psychological support, and wellness activities on the Atlantic coast.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian volunteer and artist Yaryna Soniachna organizes large-scale borshch festivals in Germany's Saarland region and is working on a music album dedicated to traditional Ukrainian dishes.

In addition, a cultural and gastronomic event was held in the Czech capital, organized by the Embassy of Ukraine, where Ukrainian borshch was presented as an element of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage, alongside a pop-up showcase of Ukrainian designers.
