Solutions to win: Ukrainian drone with embedded mine strikes a target in Russia for the first time

According to the manufacturer, pilots of combat units of the National Police of Ukraine destroyed a communication antenna located more than 20 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine.

The company also released a video showing the drone's flight to the target and the moment of impact.

Ukrainian Armored Vehicles noted that the UB60D FPV drone is equipped with an integrated warhead based on a 60-mm mortar shell. The drone's design allows it to be brought into combat readiness within minutes, enabling rapid execution of missions and quick relocation of the launch position.

The company added that UB60D drones are available for order through the E-BALLS and Defence programs via the DOT-Chain system, as well as on the Brave1 Market marketplace.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles announced the codification of another in-house FPV drone, the UB82D, equipped with an integrated 82-mm mortar shell.

As a reminder, the first FPV munition from Ukrainian Armored Vehicles was the UB60D drone with a 60-mm mortar shell. The product was codified in July last year. In September 2025, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles announced the start of serial production of the UB60D unmanned aerial complex — within a month after codification, the company had already produced more than 5,000 such systems.

The drones are delivered to the front already assembled and do not require much time to be made combat-ready. The company's production capacity allows it to manufacture 20,000 FPV munitions per month.

In addition, Ukraine is currently testing several prototypes of domestically produced microwave weapons designed to target enemy drones and swarms of drones.
