Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams Are Rock Gods at Met Gala 2026

Heated Rivalry-mania is still going strong.

Stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams know how to prompt a collective gasp from the internet. First, it was their characters’—Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander—chemistry and confirmed rendezvous at the cottage. Today, it’s their looks at the 2026 Met Gala.

Mirroring their on- and off-screen dynamics, their looks are in stark contrast with one another: Williams looked took an intense approach to the theme, while Storrie looked fresh. Both, however, were ready to rock-and roll.

Williams smoldered on the green carpet. “His glam and hair draws on the theme of transformation: a study in the moment when innocence fractures and elegance deepens into something darker,” says groomer Aika Flores. “It traces the evolution of the white swan shedding its softness to emerge sharper, more elusive, and entirely reborn.”

His makeup was complete with an extra-large winged eyeliner look and red and blue pigment smeared into his eyebrows. His hair, tousled and styled with the Dyson Supersonic Nural and Airstrait. “The hair is inspired by one of his favorite films, Black Swan,” Flores says. “This look went from purity to power, a quiet evolution. The look transcends a refined softness into something sculpted, controlled, and unmistakably commanding.”

At first glance, Storrie's look—complete with floor-length polka-dot scarf—is reminiscent of The Beatles' Ringo's polka-dot ensembles. He arrived with fresh, dewy skin—seemingly free of bronzer or contouring products. The consensus among the Allure team is that he doesn’t need them, though: “He looks like a Greek statue,” one staffer said of his look—specifically, Achilles, the mythological hero social media often compares him to (and is rallying to see him cast as).

Our observations were pretty spot on, according to his hairstylist Candice Birns, who used a Dyson Supersonic r to style his hair. “This look was inspired by Antinous, Mick Jagger, and Apollo—so we’re channeling an ethereal look while adding a distinct rock and roll edge,” she says in a press release. “Think Greek God meets rock star for an effortless, lived-in look. It was all about having ease, longevity, and edge throughout the night.”

It's the first Gala for both actors, who play lovers and hockey stars in the wildly popular streaming series. We hope to see them continue to embody the opposites-attract romance trope on-screen and in their IRL appearances.
