On Saturday, Hayek attended the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in a sequined black Gucci gown with a deep, ruffled neckline, paired with David Webb diamond drop earrings. Makeup artist Ash K. Holm gave the actor a classic glam look with rich, rosy lips, matching blush, eyes fully lined in black, and a warm brown shadow on the lids that was topped off with silver shimmer in the inner corners.
And speaking of silver shimmer: that hair! Hairstylist Andy Lecompte gave Hayek a sculptural updo with the front softly yet dramatically side-swept, allowing her gray streaks to be center-stage. But it's not a statement streak—it's more like naturally occurring highlights with a bit more visual interest. It’s a look we’ve watched evolve on her for years, but here, it feels fully realized. The silver wasn’t hidden (not that she ever was really trying to); it was framed in what feels like an almost strategic way.
If there's anyone we're pleasantly unsurprised to see embracing her grays, it's Hayek. “My hair doesn't like to be dyed,” she told Allure last year. “I look better with healthy hair that’s white.”
