Lisa’s Pink Princess Emmys Manicure Is Out of This World
Is that Glinda the Good Witch, or is it Lisa? At the 2025 Emmy Awards, the musician and White Lotus star channeled the Wicked witch with an otherworldly pink manicure and matching fairytale gown, looking like an IRL princess come to life on the red carpet.
While many other stars opted for the classic milky mani or dark red hues befitting the fall season, Lisa leaned into the princess vibes instead. The star, who appeared in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus, which was nominated for multiple awards at the ceremony, wore a cotton candy pink manicure in the same exact shade as her Lever Couture gown. Her nails were a long, delicate almond shape, painted with a few coats of a light, almost translucent candyfloss pink color to mimic that of the structural gown. Each nail was covered in silver rhinestones in varying patterns, with sparkling stones scattered across her entire nail from base to tip. The manicure is equal parts delicate and dramatic; the pink is light and sweet, and the rhinestones add texture and whimsy.
Lisa loves a statement-making manicure on the red carpet, so we weren't surprised to see her skip a neutral nail in favor of something glitzier. For the season three White Lotus premiere in early 2025, she chose a molten gold nail that faded to white, putting a glamorous twist on ombré, and at the 2025 Academy Awards, she again matched her nails to her outfit, opting for a bold black-and-white tuxedo mani. And we'd be remiss not to mention her Coachella nails, which weren't nails at all; manicurist Juan Alvear, who frequently works with Lisa, transformed her nails into reptilian claws.
“Princess nails," so named because of their blush pink color and light, subtle sweetness, have been trending this year, but if you're bored with the sheer, soapy nails trend, why not follow Lisa's lead and mix things up with a little bit of pixie dust? IMO, there's never a bad time for rhinestones.
