United to win: Germany gives Ukrainian rescuers modern equipment to respond faster to Russian attacks’ aftermath
The German government purchased the equipment through GIZ in response to Russia's large-scale attacks.
This is not the first assistance provided under the Ukrainian-German project: the State Emergency Service has been receiving modern machinery and specialized equipment. In addition, the project includes training for rescuers.
The project "Support to State and Municipal Emergency Management in Ukraine" is being implemented on behalf of Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is part of the transitional development assistance program.
