Witkoff and Kushner finish Kyiv visit and head back by train
Railway workers published footage before the train on which Witkoff and Kushner left Kyiv departed. The display board above the platform listed the train as the Peace Express.
Ukrzaliznytsia published the post on social media at around midnight on September 7.
In addition to footage of the American special representatives' departure, railway workers showed the menu prepared for Witkoff and Kushner during the trip.
The American special representatives were served dishes from Crimean Tatar cuisine. Ukrzaliznytsia said it wanted to highlight the cultural heritage of free Ukrainian Crimea.

As reported, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv on September 6. Talks with the American special envoys took place in three rounds. Trump's special representatives held negotiations with the Ukrainian side and with European partners.
Witkoff and Kushner's visit to Kyiv was preceded by their trip to Moscow on September 5. As reported, talks between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and representatives of US President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, lasted more than three hours. The Kremlin said the sides discussed ways to settle the war against Ukraine, as well as possible Russian-American projects. The White House called the talks "substantive."
US President Donald Trump had said that Witkoff and Kushner were "bringing with them a proposal to end the war."
After the talks, Witkoff said he had heard "new ideas that had not worked before" in Moscow. According to him, the American representatives discussed these ideas with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv.
The special envoys also reported a desire to return to a trilateral format of negotiations. A meeting involving Ukraine, the US, and Russia may be announced in the near future.
