Ukraine's PM Koretskyi: Ukraine expects EU to open remaining accession clusters by year-end
The government, together with Parliament, is working to expedite the review and adoption of the relevant bills as part of Ukraine's commitments to European integration and under the Ukraine Facility program.
Financing was a separate topic of the discussion.

Background
As Rubryka reported, on September 30, 2025, Ukraine and the European Commission completed bilateral meetings as part of the official screening of Ukrainian legislation for compliance with the EU acquis, or EU law.
On March 17, 2026, the European Union handed Ukraine the final accession conditions, covering three key negotiating clusters and completing the process of defining the requirements.
On June 15, all European Union countries agreed to open the first cluster of accession talks with Ukraine and Moldova. It is called "Fundamentals" and, in the literal sense, is the core cluster that covers justice and fundamental rights. Its opening marks the start of real and substantive negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
Under the procedure, five more clusters must open next: "Internal Market," "Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth," "Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity," "Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion Policy," and "External Relations." As noted, Ukraine is ready to open the remaining clusters this month.
On June 22, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said after the Moldova-EU summit that the European Union was moving to an individual approach to Ukraine and Moldova in their path toward membership. From now on, each candidate country's pace of progress will depend on concrete reform results and compliance with the established requirements.
