Ukraine advances to its first-ever minifootball euro semifinal with win over Georgia
According to the association, Ukraine defeated Georgia 4–0 in the quarterfinal match held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Sport.ua reported that Mykhailo Hrytsyna opened the scoring in the 12th minute, finishing off an attack following a throw-in. He doubled Ukraine's lead near the end of the first half and completed his hat trick shortly after the break with his third goal of the match.
Oleksandr Kolesnykov sealed the 4–0 victory late in the game, scoring after a set-piece play.

In the Round of 16, Ukraine defeated Portugal 3–1. By advancing to the semifinals, Ukraine has already guaranteed itself at least a bronze medal, as the tournament does not include a third-place playoff.
In the Euro 2026 semifinals, Ukraine will face Hungary, which also won its quarterfinal match 4–0. The game is scheduled for June 3 at 8:15 p.m. Kyiv time.
