Russian forces attack Kyiv and regions overnight, killing and injuring residents

Local authorities noted that air raid sirens sounded several times throughout the night in Kyiv due to the threat of ballistic missile strikes. Authorities recorded consequences across four city districts:
In addition, fatalities occurred in the Darnytskyi district, where the attack set a garage cooperative on fire. While extinguishing the blaze, rescuers discovered the bodies of two people. Emergency crews managed to rescue two other individuals.
Earlier, authorities in this district reported a fire caused by falling debris in an open area.
Attacks on other cities across the country
At the same time, Russian troops launched strikes against other Ukrainian cities.
After 6:00 a.m., the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Diakivnych, reported a massive missile and drone attack on the region, along with explosions in Kremenchuk, Poltava region. According to the Air Force, groups of cruise missiles flew toward the city.
In the city, strikes hit a residential area, damaging apartment buildings. In the Kremenchuk district, an attack struck an enterprise.

In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian strike damaged a transport infrastructure facility, leading to potential temporary traffic restrictions on certain road sections.
In Dnipro, Russian forces struck an industrial enterprise.
"In Dnipro, strikes damaged an industrial enterprise, apartment buildings, and a sports club," the official post reads.
In the morning, the Pryluky City Council reported an attack on the city of Pryluky in the Chernihiv region. The strike damaged civilian and municipal infrastructure.
One of the enemy aerial targets hit a five-story building. Suspilne reported that all emergency services are working at the site of the impact, pulling people from under the rubble.
In Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad region, Mayor Serhii Kuzmenko reported that Russian troops struck a critical infrastructure facility, injuring several people.
"Information regarding fatalities is currently unavailable. Three rescue units joined the effort to eliminate the consequences," he specified.
Later, he added that a woman died as a result of the attack on Oleksandriia. Three other people sustained injuries, while first responders lost contact with two individuals. The strike targeted a critical infrastructure enterprise while setting the roof of a private residential building on fire. Relevant services are operating on site.
