There, patients can also view their current declaration and update their personal data. They can receive an e-prescription remotely if the patient's condition allows it and, of course, only by a doctor's decision," Liashko wrote.
He noted that digital services also allow patients to check prices for medicines prescribed by a doctor.
"The QR code in the e-prescription memo leads to the National Price Catalog, where patients can find up to three of the most cost-effective options. This is available for all medicines that patients buy at their own expense," Liashko said.
In addition, patients can receive a medical conclusion and an e-sick leave certificate without paper documents, stamps, or signatures. A doctor creates a medical conclusion on temporary incapacity for work in the electronic health care system. The system then automatically sends the information to the Pension Fund to generate an e-sick leave certificate if the patient is an insured person.
Parents can also use a medical birth certificate to register for the eMaliatko service. To do this, a doctor enters the required data into the electronic health care system, after which parents receive the medical birth certificate number. The necessary information is then automatically exchanged between state information systems.
"In each of these cases, digitalization removes from the process what used to take people's time: paperwork, queues, duplicate data, and unnecessary requests," Liashko summarized.

It should be noted that Ukraine has registered the National Medicines Verification Organization association, which will become a key element in the introduction of a national medicine verification system. Its creation marks an important step toward combating counterfeit medicines and harmonizing Ukraine's system with EU requirements.
It was also reported that Ukraine has simplified the rules for obtaining electronic prescriptions and medical conclusions. In some cases, patients will no longer need to contact their family doctor additionally. The new rules took effect on June 12.
