Overnight Russian attack: Fires break out in Kyiv, one person killed in Kryvyi Rih

Overnight, Russian forces launched ballistic missiles toward the capital several times. The Air Force initially warned of a threat from the east, and later from the north. Later, two groups of missiles were reported moving toward Kyiv from the Chernihiv region.

An air raid alert was declared in the city, and residents were urged to immediately seek shelter.

Following the attack, fires and damage were reported in the Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts:

Rescuers also reported damage to a building caused by the blast wave, as well as debris striking a non-residential structure. Several cars caught fire near one of the premises. The State Emergency Service mentioned that a large fire broke out on the grounds of one of the markets.

Rescuers and all relevant services are working at the sites of the strikes.

At the same time, Russian forces attacked industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih. The strike caused a fire.

Initially, one person was reported injured. Later, the number of casualties rose to six. It was subsequently reported that one of them died from their injuries.

"One person was killed as a result of the enemy's overnight attack on Kryvyi Rih," Hanzha said.

By morning, the regional governor reported that 13 residents had been injured.

"A 48-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious condition. Ten people were hospitalized in moderate condition. The other injured people are undergoing examinations," he added.
