Solutions to win: Seven companies in Ukraine develop guided aerial bombs, including turbojet-powered models

Lebedenko emphasized that developing this area is important given the scale at which the Russian army uses aerial bombs.
"Over the past year, the Russians used more than 60,000 bombs. That is why we must grow our own manufacturers to increase the quantity. The platforms for launching them exist, and they are being improved. But we are also looking toward accuracy, because it is difficult to compete with Russia's mass launches," the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.

In May, it became known that a participant in the Brave1 defense hub had created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb. The development work lasted 17 months.

At the beginning of summer, it also became known that BlueBird Tech, together with one of Ukraine's leading research and design bureaus, is developing and preparing domestic guided aerial bombs for serial production.
