UN seeks to raise $358 mln to support Ukrainians during winter
The UN emphasizes that the Ukrainian government should play the leading role in meeting needs for the autumn-winter period. At the same time, the new humanitarian plan aims to complement state efforts and support the most vulnerable groups of the population.

As Rubryka wrote, this year Ukraine plans to approve an updated strategy to protect energy facilities and critical infrastructure for the next winter. Authorities will define a specific list of mandatory measures for each region.
It should be noted that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said Ukraine needs about 5 billion euros to prepare the regions for the next heating season. The funds will go toward protection and construction work in energy and municipal infrastructure.
