Ukrainian drone detector Chuika now streams video to external monitors

What's the solution?

According to the developers, the upgrade allows teams to share a live video feed on large displays. It makes it easier for multiple operators to view and analyze incoming footage, assess threats, and coordinate responses in real time.

How does it work?

BlueBird Tech developed the feature in response to requests from frontline troops seeking expanded functionality in combat conditions.

The upgraded Chuika includes an integrated analog video output using a four-pin mini-jack connector. The system can connect to external monitors or televisions that support analog video signals.

"We added this interface at the request of military personnel at command posts. The built-in color display works fine for one operator, but when a whole team needs to see and analyze intercepted footage, a large external monitor is a must," BlueBird Tech engineers said.

The company said the video-output Chuika won't become a standard model. It will be available only as a custom-order option. The base model stays the same and comes with no extra accessories.

BlueBird Tech said the system stays fully passive: piping video to an external screen does not expose a command post or compromise its cover.

The company also said the system can operate with remote antennas when needed.

As previously reported, BlueBird Drones released a mobile app for the Chuika drone detector. The app allows users to control devices from a smartphone, update multiple detectors at once, even without internet access, and access technical diagnostics and operating data.

BlueBird Tech has also developed the Vishchun-P relay system, which provides stable video and telemetry links for FPV drones at distances of up to 25 kilometers, even in environments with heavy radio interference.
