It is noted that among the Russian facilities attacked at night was the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant. According to Kovalenko, the plant produces critical components for the Russian army:
For reference:It should be noted that on the night of July 3, drones again attacked the Energia plant in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation. This plant is the largest in the Russian Federation, specializing in producing chemical power sources. The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Kovalenko, confirmed the UAV attack.
It should be noted that the Russian Energia plant was already under attack by drones on May 23.
On the afternoon of July 1, strike drones attacked the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant "Kupol", which is located in the Udmurt Republic, 1.5 thousand kilometers from the border with Ukraine. It is one of the main Tor and Osa air defense systems manufacturers, and the Harpy strike UAV for Russian troops.
Also recently, Ukraine's intelligence reported that drones of the "Prymary" special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied Crimea weakened Russian air defense.
In addition, on the afternoon of June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted operations simultaneously targeting four Russian military airfields. Remarkably, these airfields are deep inside Russian territory, hundreds of kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The affected airfields were "Belaya" in the Irkutsk region, "Olenya" in the Murmansk region, "Dyagilevo" in Ryazan, and "Ivanovo" in the Ivanovo region.
According to preliminary information, at least 41 aircraft—specifically Tu-95 and Tu-22M3 bombers and an A-50 airborne early warning aircraft—were reportedly hit. The full extent and details of the damage are still being assessed.
