Shmyhal Explains What Ukraine Expects from New Package of the EU’s Sanctions against Russia

The foreign ministers of seven countries have arrived in Kyiv today with official visit . Ukraine expects that as part of ninth package of anti-Russian sanctions, the European Union will implement restrictions against banking sector and entry ban for Russian citizens, as Denys Shmyhal, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, posted in his Telegram channel. During the meeting with foreign minister of the Baltic and North European States, the Prime Minister discussed new sanctions against Russia. "We expect that 9th package of sanctions will include total SWIFT ban for Russian banks and the EU entry ban for the terrorist state’s citizens”, Shmyhal stressed. According to him, the ministers also discussed further military and financial aid, as well as energy sector badly damaged by Russian attacks. Read also:
