Around 6:00 a.m., reports confirmed a strike on a 25-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district.

Authorities subsequently confirmed one fatality and two injuries resulting from the Russian strike on the high-rise.

According to the State Emergency Service, firefighters extinguished a blaze spanning 120 square meters across the 24th and 25th floors. Structural damage covered approximately 40 square meters.

Rescuers extracted two injured individuals from the building and transferred them to medical personnel. Emergency crews discovered the body of the deceased victim while extinguishing the fire. Firefighters evacuated six additional residents from the structure as operations to clear debris and douse smoldering wreckage continue.

Earlier in the night, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported falling drone debris in the Holosiivskyi district. The debris landed in an open area, shattering windows in a non-residential building and damaging several parked vehicles.

Additionally, Russian troops struck the Pivdennyi (South) Bridge for the third time overnight.

"In connection with overnight enemy attacks, public transport movement across specific bridges is temporarily restricted. The Pivdennyi Bridge is closed in both directions. The Paton Bridge is closed in both directions. The Metro Bridge is closed toward the Right Bank," Klychko announced.

Following the strikes, municipal authorities closed the Pivdennyi, Paton, and Metro bridges to public transit, re-routing traffic across the Darnytskyi Bridge.
