Kropyvnytskyi opens therapeutic garden to support recovery and rehabilitation
Children and youth with disabilities, veterans, seniors, and center staff can all use the garden.

Liliia Misiunia, head of the city's comprehensive rehabilitation center, shared that the idea for the therapeutic garden arose after she visited a similar space in Kyiv.
During construction, the team strove to accommodate the needs of diverse visitor groups and keep the area fully accessible.
Staff members from the center, the city council's Department of Social and Veteran Policy, local families, partners, sponsors, and community volunteers all contributed to creating the garden. The center also completed part of the work using its own resources.
Nataliia Zhukarina, the mother of fallen defender Maksym, also joined the project, supporting the creation of the garden in memory of her son.
Background
As previously reported, the Therapeutic Garden at VDNH made the shortlist for the European Prize for Urban Public Space. This marks the first international recognition of its kind for a Ukrainian therapeutic space, confirming that solutions developed during wartime can set new standards for urban spaces beyond Ukraine.
