Russia attacks Kyiv region 38 times, killing one and injuring two, damaging 49 sites
According to the regional head, the fatality occurred in the Bucha district.
"Unfortunately, the enemy's morning attack took a person's life in the Bucha district. Another man suffered multiple shrapnel wounds. He was hospitalized in a local hospital," he said.

He also said a woman was injured in the Fastiv district after suffering cuts to her hand.
"She is currently receiving the necessary medical assistance," the head of the regional military administration said.
In total, Russian attacks damaged civilian sites in the Fastiv, Boryspil, Vyshhorod, Brovary, and Bucha districts. According to preliminary data, the damage includes:

Repeated Russian attacks

Since the first hit on the night of August 27, the Kyiv region has endured 38 attacks. While rescuers were working, air raid alerts sounded 20 times, forcing them to interrupt firefighting and take cover.
On August 27, air raid alerts in Kyiv and the region lasted almost 12 hours in total. Rescuers also recorded 13 repeated strikes.
Rescuers had been working since the night of August 27 and continued throughout the following day. By the morning of August 28, air raid alerts had sounded 11 times and lasted more than 14 hours in total.

Background
On the morning of August 28, crews continued working to eliminate the consequences of Russian attacks. Rescuers are operating at the sites of fires and destruction, while the threat of new strikes remains.
It should be noted that on the same night, a Russian drone destroyed a Nova Poshta sorting depot in Sviatopetrivske in the Kyiv region, while nearby production facilities were damaged. Also on the morning of August 28, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia, hitting the territory of a shopping center where an Epicentr construction hypermarket is located. The strike damaged the building, and preliminary reports indicate one person was injured.
As Rubryka reported, Russian forces attacked Sumy, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, during the evening of August 27 and overnight into August 28. The strikes killed and injured people, and damaged or destroyed residential buildings, cars, businesses, and other civilian sites.
