Zaporizhzhia strike death toll rises to three: rescuers find 11-year-old girl’s body

Initial reports on the consequences of the strike said one person had been killed and three others injured.
Later, officials said two people — a woman and a child — were trapped under the rubble of an apartment building.
Ivan Fedorov later reported that the death toll had risen to two, while at least 10 people had been injured.
According to him, Russian guided aerial bombs destroyed two floors of a five-story building and damaged windows and balconies in a nine-story apartment block. The private sector also sustained damage. In addition, a fire broke out at a logistics operator's terminal.
Later, rescuers recovered a woman from under the rubble with no signs of life.
After that, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration reported that the number of injured had risen to 33. Among them were five children.
As of 9:52 p.m., Ivan Fedorov reported two dead and 41 injured.
Later, he said rescuers had found the body of an 11-year-old girl while clearing the rubble. Thus, the death toll from the Russian attack rose to three.
