Ukrainian pentathletes win three gold medals at junior European Championships in Spain

It should be noted that Ukrainian tennis players Anhelina Kalinina and Dayana Yastremska made a successful start in the doubles draw at Wimbledon 2026. In their first-round match, they defeated Simona Waltert of Switzerland and Laura Pigossi of Brazil in three sets.
Also, Ukraine's U19 junior football team claimed a comeback 2-1 victory over Serbia in the second round of the Euro 2026 group stage. Thanks to the win, the blue and yellow team reached the tournament playoffs ahead of schedule and secured a place at the 2027 U20 World Cup.
