Russian drone hits minibus in Zaporizhzhia: three killed, child among the wounded
According to Fedorov, Russian forces targeted a public minibus in one of the city's districts with a drone.
He also said the blast wave damaged a car traveling next to the minibus.
According to the regional governor, the minibus driver suffered severe injuries and remains in critical condition.
About an hour later, Fedorov updated the casualty figures, saying the number of victims had risen.
As previously reported, a Russian attack on June 28 damaged a private home and an industrial facility in Zaporizhzhia. People were also injured in that strike.
Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia on June 26. According to the latest reports, 15 people, including a child, were injured.
Amid a surge in attacks, Zaporizhzhia has begun rolling out passive protection measures. Hospitals, municipal facilities, and government buildings will have their windows covered with blast-resistant film, while entrances and exits will be protected with anti-drone netting.
