Jennifer Lopez's Hair Had a Very Coquette Christmas
Wearing a big bow in your hair on Christmas serves two very important purposes. First, it lets everyone know that you are the gift. Second, it helps extend the seemingly unending lifespan of the coquette trend, which is still going, if Jennifer Lopez has anything to say about it.
J. Lo shared both a carousel of photos and a reel to her Instagram grid on Christmas, sharing how she and her family celebrated the holiday. From the looks of it, there were a lot of matching pajamas involved, as well as a gigantic, glowing tree, a beautifully set dining room table, a gift bags galore. But whether Lopez was wearing her striped PJs or a slinky, red dress, she opted for the same adorable hairstyle.
Her updo featured an adorably imperfect bun, with loops and loose ends, secured lower on the back of her head. The base was pulled back not-too-tautly, letting two long, '90s-inspired tendrils hang in front to frame her face. And there, atop her bun, was the prettiest burgundy velvet bow you ever did see.
Not only did this bow pair well with both her pajamas and her dress, but it also matched the decor, which featured burgundy ribbons hanging from a chandelier, candles, the fireplace mantel, and more.
We have a feeling this is a sign that we may be entering yet another year—or at least a season—of coquette hair still going strong. So if you've been debating how to wear your hair for New Year's Eve, let J. Lo serve as inspiration to ring in 2026 with a literal bow on top.
