Anya Taylor-Joy's Icicle Nails Give New Meaning to Cold Snap
A big chunk of the country is shaking off snow from an early wave of super-cold weather, but it seems it might have left a lasting impression on Anya Taylor-Joy. At the Tiffany & Co. Celebrates the Holidays event in New York City last night, she went full ice queen, right down—and especially—to her fingertips.
The actor and Tiffany & Co. ambassador was, of course, decked out in the iconic brand's jewelry, which complemented the white, asymmetrical, corseted Dilara Findikoğlu halter dress that, despite being mini, gives very wintry vibes. (Even more wintry: the big, white coat she was also spotted in.)
Always ethereal, Taylor-Joy wore her platinum blonde hair in a taut, sleek updo that culminated in a smooth bun that leaves the ends out. With her hair off her face, it was no problem getting a good look at her glowing skin, lush lashes, and glossy berry lip.
But perhaps the most impressive element of her beauty look is her manicure, which all but announced that she is so very ready for winter.
Each extra-long nail extended far past her fingertips to end in a sharp point. A frosty white extends unevenly to the middle of each nail, giving way to a gradient effect with a clear, textured finish through the rest of the length. The resulting look is undeniably icicle-inspired.
We know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but you have to admit, it's tempting to skip the go-to burnt oranges and burgundies of the season and skip right to icy inspo for your next manicure, no?
