If there's one star we can count on to bring the Halloween glam, it's Megan Fox. Every year, the actor surprises and delights us with her choice of costume, paying homage to Pamela Anderson one year and channeling Queen Amidala the next. But for 2025, Fox dipped into her own filmography for inspiration with a blood red cats-eye manicure inspired by her beloved film Jennifer's Body.

In the 2009 movie, Fox plays Jennifer, a cheerleader who is also a man-killing demon. For her pre-Halloween night out, Fox glammed it up in a strapless corseted gown with beaded blood droplets cascading from the bodice and down the sheer skirt. Manicurist Brittney Boyce, Fox's go-to nail artist, mimicked that deep red color on the star's nails—with a modern, reflective cats-eye texture.

“This was actually Megan’s first time in a while having long nails since the baby—and her first time choosing her own design,” Boyce tells Allure. "She sent me this fiery inspo and we ended up creating a layered blood cat eye with silver chrome details that felt equal parts dark and sexy.”

To craft the reflective, vampy red mani, Boyce applied long stiletto-shaped gel extensions to the star's natural nails, then applied a coat of DND Gel Polish in Black Ocean topped with a coat of Silver Lynx cat-eye polish. For the “layered blood effect,” Boyce reached for Clear Red, a deep red jelly polish, and applied it as an overlay to the black-and-silver color combo. Boyce then finished with some chrome details and sealed the mani up with a topcoat.

Fox's nails may have been dipped in blood (red nail polish), but the rest of her look was soft and sweet—a fun contrast against the bloody gown. Makeup artist Jenna Kristina brushed on a pretty peach blush and delicate lash, and hairstylist Justine Marjan styled Fox's dark hair in long waves. Jennifer may have died at the end of the movie, but it's fun to see Fox resurrect one of her most iconic characters just in time for spooky season.
