All you need to know about Bellator 286: Freire vs. Borics

The Bellator featherweight title is on the line as Patricio “Pitbull” Freire defends the belt he recently won back against top contender Adam Borics at Bellator 286. The fight takes place inside Long Beach Arena in California on Oct. 1. Training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu since he was 10, Freire made his pro debut at 16 in 2004. He joined Bellator in 2010 and has amassed a 21-5 record with the promotion. “Pitbull” is a three-time Bellator featherweight champion. In 2017 he won the title for a second time and defended it in the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix.
