United to win: Zaporizhzhia region receives three ambulances from Norwegian charity organizations

The vehicles are worth a total of $34,500. They were received by the Komyshuvakha and Bilenke territorial communities, as well as the Regional Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.

For Zaporizhzhia region, much of which lies near the front line, this assistance is particularly important. Ongoing shelling, infrastructure damage and the difficult security situation mean that the need for rapid emergency response and medical care remains extremely high. This is especially true in frontline communities, where medical teams work in challenging conditions every day, helping the injured and saving lives.

The new vehicles will strengthen emergency medical services, enable faster responses to calls, ensure the timely transportation of patients to healthcare facilities, and improve access to medical services for community residents.

Ukraine Frontline Emergency Aid (UFEA) is a Norwegian charitable foundation focused on supporting Ukraine. The organization brings together volunteers and concerned citizens in Norway who collect and deliver essential equipment and vehicles to Ukrainian communities, healthcare facilities, and Ukraine's defenders. Its assistance includes the provision of ambulances, firefighting vehicles, and other equipment needed to respond to the challenges of the war.

As previously reported, the city authorities of Vienna donated 14 specialized ambulances to Sumy region. The vehicles will help strengthen the emergency response system and support medical services in the region.

In addition, a meeting between French volunteers and representatives of Lviv City Council took place in Lviv, during which an ambulance was handed over to Ukrainian service members from the 130th Territorial Defense Battalion.
