Results On Black Sea Grain Exports Possible In The Coming Weeks — Wadephul
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul hopes that results on grain exports from Ukraine and Russia via the Black Sea can be achieved in the coming weeks. He said this in an interview with ZDF, UATV English relays.
In Wadephul’s view, despite disagreements with the Russian side, dialogue is necessary.
“We won’t resolve the Ukrainian conflict as a whole, but we need to ensure that grain can be transported from Ukraine and Russia to countries of the Global South. So I believe a result could be achieved in the coming weeks,” Johann Wadephul emphasized.
It should be recalled that Ukraine’s and Europe’s positions in the negotiation process, Russian hybrid attacks near NATO borders, and the safety of shipping in the Black Sea were the main agenda items in the European Parliament on October 20.
