Charity auction raises about €50,000 for Ukrainian military
Ukraine's Defense Intelligence announced the fundraiser in a Facebook post.
The charity dinner and auction brought together business leaders and public figures to raise money for Ukrainian troops.
"The event raised nearly 2.5 million hryvnias for two units: the Timur Special Unit of Defense Intelligence and the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov of the National Guard," the agency said.
The organizers will split the proceeds equally between the two units. The money will go toward buying several types of drones, including:
The units will use the drones in combat operations on the front line.
In March, Kyiv hosted another charity auction to support special units of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence. Organizers said the proceeds would help equip 10 mobile drone teams tasked with providing continuous tactical surveillance along a 100-kilometer stretch of the front line.
In another fundraiser, the Homin Choir of the Lviv Organ Hall, together with TEATR ORG and the Na Vchora charity foundation, helped equip two military intelligence evacuation vehicles with modern emergency medical equipment.
Meanwhile, Lviv hosted the Dyzarium 2026 festival on October 24–25, bringing together people from the creative industries. More than 5,000 people attended its in-person events over two days. The festival's charity initiatives raised around 1.277 million hryvnias to support Ukrainian troops.
