“Ukraine Isn’t Going to Surrender” — Kellogg Says Putin Doesn’t Have the Combat Capability to Take All of Ukraine
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin could easily end the war right now if he announces a so-called victory to Russians and withdraws his troops from the occupied territories. Retired US Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg stated this in an interview with AFPI, UATV English relays.
He emphasized that Ukrainian forces continue resisting the aggression and are increasingly striking targets inside Russia, and that the Kremlin’s plans to seize Ukraine are far from realistic.
“One of the key reasons Putin can’t seize all of Ukraine is that he doesn’t have the combat capability for it. Ukraine isn’t going to surrender. Ukrainians aren’t going to voluntarily give up land. They’re a formidable fighting force. They’ve done extraordinary work. And I think we just need to tell Putin what he doesn’t want to hear: it’s time for you to go home and stop this war,” Keith Kellogg emphasized.
It should be recalled that, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Kremlin officials have effectively rejected the energy truce proposed by the US and Ukraine.
