Solutions to win: Ukrainian company presents Adis heavy drone with satellite control for strike and logistics missions

Martyn Tech says this solution removes traditional limitations imposed by the radio horizon and allows operators to remain at a safe distance from the mission area, including thousands of kilometers from the front line.

According to the developers, this system also enables missions that are unavailable to drones with traditional radio control.

"It was created in direct response to a request from the front to carry out complex strike missions, mining, and logistics in conditions of a limited radio horizon," said Illia Samoshkin, head of Martyn Tech.

He also said the UAV has been integrated into combat scenarios, and that the company plans to disclose the details after Ukraine's victory.

Adis has a declared combat radius of 20 km with a 10 kg payload.

Martyn Tech says the drone exceeded these figures during testing:

The flight time on a single battery charge is about one hour. At the same time, the developers note that the overall range and duration of a mission can be increased, limited only by the battery supply.

Thanks to its modular design, the quadcopter can perform a wide range of tasks. In particular, it can be used for:

Adis has a cruising speed of 65 km/h and a maximum speed of up to 90 km/h. The UAV's operating flight altitude is about 400 meters.

The drone is equipped with a dual camera for target search and identification. According to the company, it can detect objects at a distance of up to 600 meters during the day and up to 150 meters at night.

The UAV was named Adis in honor of a serviceman of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians, who had the call sign "Adis." He was killed in June 2022 in the Donetsk region while defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.

Martyn Tech also said the drone has already passed codification and will soon be available for purchase through the Brave1 Market and the DOT-Chain Defense platforms.

Background

It should be noted that Ukrainian company Tencore is working on an artificial intelligence module for the Termit 2.0 ground robotic system. The module will allow the platform to move independently along a route even if it loses GPS navigation and communication with the operator.

It was also reported that Ukrainian company Oko Camera presented the new Oko Pro thermal imaging camera, designed for unmanned and robotic systems using computer vision algorithms. The device is made exclusively from Ukrainian and European components and is already available for pre-order.
