Zelenskyy arrives in London, details of his visit emerged

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the United Kingdom's capital on an official visit on Tuesday 17 March.

According to Zelenskyy's spokesman Serhii Nykyforov, Ukrainian president will begin the visit with a meeting with King Charles at Buckingham Palace at 14:00 local time.

At around 14:40 London time, Zelenskyy will arrive at Downing Street, where he will first hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, followed by a trilateral meeting with Starmer and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

In addition, a separate meeting with Rutte is also scheduled for the evening.

At 16:25 local time, the Ukrainian president will deliver an address to members of the UK Parliament.

As part of Zelenskyy's visit to London, the United Kingdom and Ukraine are preparing to sign new defence cooperation agreements.

The UK will notably provide £500,000 in funding for a new Centre of Excellence in artificial intelligence to be based at Ukraine's Ministry of Defence.
